Special Topics in Information Science; Teaching and Learning in the Information Sciences

This course is intended to introduce students to the various ways that topics learned about as part of their InfoSci degree interact with teaching and learning. As part of the course students will be introduced to teaching and learning related careers for students with InfoSci degrees, explore implications of ideas from InfoSci on teaching and learning, and engage in hands-on projects related to the design of learning environments and foundational aspects of effective teaching.
