Katrina Fenlon INST442 Expecting an A+ Anonymous 12/20/2024	Dr. Fenlon was super sweet and caring! You can tell that she's passionate about digital curation. Attendance is mandatory and she had an in-class activity every day, so be prepared for that. A couple of days throughout the semester she even had quizzes or notecard activities in the first five minutes of class to check who arrived on time (we often had people showing up 15-20 minutes late and I think she got sick of it). Sometimes the in-class activities made me dread going to class because they were kind of irrelevant and boring, but we ball. Our assignments were interesting and the final project (creating our own digital collection and preservation plan) was actually fun! If you're the type of person who can go to class every day, I recommend Dr. Fenlon, but if you're a chronic skipper I would recommend looking for a different elective.
