Topics in Broadcasting and Electronic Media; Designing Stories with Motion Graphics

Prerequisite: JOUR504 or JOUR603. In this course, students will learn how to create motion graphics that turn data and facts into visually compelling animated stories. Students will learn theories and practices of animation, design and visual journalism. After completing this course, students will have a solid grasp of storyboarding, scripting and creating motion graphic stories using the Adobe After Effects software.
