This is a Big Ten Academic Alliance Course-Share course. The instructor, Tawny Holm, is at the Penn State University. UMD students enroll and and attend the class at UMD. For more information, contact the instructor at tholm@psu.edu or (814) 863-0790. A general introduction to Aramaic and will enable students to read texts in a variety of Aramaic dialects. No prior knowledge of Aramaic or any other Semitic language is required.
