Michelle Jamin KNES306 Expecting an A Anonymous 12/14/2024	Michelle is awesome. She is SO excited about her profession and genuinely wants us to learn and do well. She drives like an hour and a half every week for our class. She is also hilarious, has so much personality and makes lectures very fun. We NEVER took the full three hours of class time except when all 30 of us had to do our final presentations. The final presentation topics were brief and easy enough and we were allowed to sign up for whatever we wanted. She grades extremely fairly. There's a quiz once a week but we have access to all the slides so they're super easy. If you show up to class, you'll do great on the exams. Loved her and her class. Highly recommend.
Ian Fothergill KNES306 Anonymous 12/13/2022	This is the first semester he's teaching at UMD but has taught elsewhere. He's really passionate about the content and has a lot of insight but it's a week before the final and none of the students or department has heard from him in 3 weeks (hope he's ok!). There's no grades in the grade book except for the final we know nothing about and a presentation he hasn't even acknowledged since submission. So if you're looking for the bare minimum but with no grade assurance this is it. Subject is cool to learn about but this man lacks professionalism.
