Seppo Iso-Ahola KNES440 Expecting a W Anonymous 12/11/2024	I would strongly advise against taking this class with this professor. The workload is overwhelming and leaves little room to breathe. Every week, students are required to read 4-5 highly technical scientific articles before class—articles that are extremely difficult to understand without advanced expertise. On top of that, two students are chosen weekly to present, and the professor asks very specific, often obscure, questions about the readings. To make matters worse, there’s a 12-page paper due near the end of the semester, yet the professor still expects students to keep up with the heavy article reading and annotation during that time. If you’re looking for a manageable or balanced class, this isn’t it. Choose another option if possible.
