Computational Motor Control and Learning: Engineering the Mind

This course critically examines how computational motor neurosciences can provide a theoretical framework to understand the underlying cognitive/sensori-motor control and learning processes in human. In particular, the internal model theory is presented and discussed through complementary, interdisciplinary approaches, which include human behavioral and neuroimaging experiments, neurophysiology and neural modeling. Applications discussed in this course include various motor rehabilitation and assistive technology (e.g., neuroprostheses) approaches.
