12/22/2025 		Oh my goodness, this class is INCREDIBLY BORING. All the lessons were SO repetitive, and I just feel like the professors overcomplicated such an easy topic. They were both very kind and open to helping everyone; however, the class itself was just so boring. Your whole grade is based on the 10 homeworks, the midterm, and the final. The questions on everything were so open-ended that the grading really confused me.

05/23/2025 		I actually registered for this class on the last day of drop add because the gen ed I was in switched professors, and it was the best decision I made. LING260 is a really chill and fun gen ed, just 2 easy exams, you learn something that isn't completely boring like other gen eds, and the workload is really small. Dr. Hacquard is really nice, understanding and would definitely recommend this class to anyone who needs a gen ed. As a warning the class does require attendance but it isn't worth many points and if you can't make it you can email the TA and she's very understanding. Overall take the class and get an easy A and maybe even learn something!
