Recommended: NAVY100 and NAVY101. Restriction: Permission of UGST-Navy ROTC. Additional information: Priority enrollment will be given to students in the NROTC program. Traces the development of warfare, from earliest recorded history to the present, with focus on the impact of major military theorists, strategists, tacticians, and technological developments. The student acquires an intermediate sense of strategy and develops an understanding of military alternatives and the impact of historical precedent on military thought and actions.
