Seminar in Industrial/Organizational Psychology; Organizational Leadership

This course covers the history and currently dominant theories in the field of leadership. We will discuss the social influences, cognitive processes, and organizational contingencies that leaders use to influence others. Both the positive (e.g., transformational, authentic) and negative (e.g., abusive, toxic) aspects of leadership will be discussed as will issues of measurement.
