Overall the class is a little unorganized however, Christopher Donald is very knowledgeable and has good insight into the industry. I must say I already learned a lot from him and he's definitely a good lecturer. The class has frequent guest speakers and is pretty easy since most work is group/project work. He's a funny guy too he likes to call out people sometimes which is the only downside but overall a solid class with a good professor. |

This guy is hilarious, he called a guy with a tattoo "soft" on the second class Class is very discussion/conversational base and casual Your grade is mostly from group projects so picking a good group is important He's part of some estate development board in DC and he really likes to bring that up in class |

Very nice professor he loves to talk after class and get to know how students. Always replied to my emails in a good time frame, projects and presentations were easy as long as you paid attention to his directions and feedback. |

Kind professor, class runs long and often times monotone but he tries to keep it interesting. Fall 2023 was his first semester at UMD but overall assignments were weekly Memo Case studies, a development proposal essay once a month, and a final proposal presentation. The essays were definitely lengthy and graded pretty strictly but if you write professionally and pay attention to the briefs and feedback, you’ll be fine. |

The GOAT. Amazing professor. Super nice. Brings in great guest lecturers - from people who do real estate for Google to local architects. The class was not stressful, but I learned a ton. Even organized multiple optional class field trips for us. |

One of the most outstanding professors I have ever had. As an architecture student, he understood my busy schedule because of the studio classes I have as long as I was clear and upfront with him. The guest lectures he brought in were super interesting and personable as well as great potential internship opportunities if one wished to pursue them. Writing reports are certainly not my strong suit but a quick email with what I had was enough for him to tell me what I needed to do and make it that much more simple. Overall a great man and a phenomenal connection to have in the field of real estate development. |
