The second semester of first-year Turkish is a Big Ten Academic Alliance CourseShare online course. The instructor is at Michigan State University course management system Desire to Learn (D2L). Heritage speakers and those with prior knowledge of Turkish need to contact the Course Coordinator at MSU before enrolling in the course to determine appropriate placement, Ms. Steider: steider@msu.edu, 517-355-5105. The course will begin on January 23, 2017 and end on April 28, 2017, in accordance with the class schedule at Michigan State University. As this is an on-line course, you will NOT need to be on campus at Maryland in order to start the course. The last day to enroll in this class is January 27, 2017 and no additional seats will be added. Although this is an online course, it is NOT self-paced. There are weekly assignments and two required virtual meetings per week on Tuesday and Thursday from 11:30 am to 12:20 pm.
