Brian Connor SOCY455 Expecting an A+ Anonymous 01/12/2026	This professor deserves a pay raise. He is one of the kindest professors and very understanding. He genuinely cares about students and write extremely fair exams. I will say, make sure you actually read all the assigned readings before the exams. There are 2 exams and they are huge portions of your grade. There is also a semester long research project that is very easy and straight forward to complete if you put in effort. I highly recommend this class and professor, and I think UMD should give him ten-year.
Brian Connor SOCY455 Expecting an A- Anonymous 12/26/2025	The professor is very sweet and sort of funny. I enjoyed it for the beginning but then it got pretty boring. It was an easy class, weekly discussion assignments and a final project of your choice. Easy class honestly.
