Long Doan SOCY490 Expecting a B Anonymous 06/10/2024	This class was a six-person class when I took it and it seemed pretty straight forward but I did not get a great grade in it by the end. It was probably my fault considering I did not meet with Long after class and ask questions. He lets out class early every time and is extremely lenient. You just have to work with him and you'll probably do better than me. There is also barely any work.
Long Doan SOCY490 Expecting an A Anonymous 05/07/2024	He's been my mentor for the past two years and he's genuinely one of the best professors I've had here at UMD. I took 490 as a sophomore so it was definitely a lot of reading and very difficult for someone of my skill level, but he always was willing to work with me whenever I ran into trouble and provided excellent feedback on all of my assignments. If you're into research in Sociology or just want a really cool prof, definitely take Dr. Doan.
