Chris Lewis SPAN359E Expecting an A Anonymous 12/11/2025	Chris is a great teacher! Took this class as a kinda random credit to meet 15 for the semester, but I am so grateful I had the opportunity to! Class consists of readings with responses for some of them, each due at the beginning of class. He is very understanding and makes class seem just like a hangout, and he likes to yap. We watched In the Heights as an assignment, which was great. No final exam, just two projects due near the end of the semester. One podcast due like last week of class, and one "book club" which counts as a final, where you get like half the semester to read a book and then meet with a group of like five and record a 50-minute book club. Highly suggest this class!
Chris Lewis SPAN359E Expecting an A Anonymous 05/03/2024	i know this course is new, so prof lewis is doing his best to teach it. however, the class canvas was hastily published with half of the details missing (syllabus was a blank template). he also has a bad habit of not uploading the materials for the class until the day before class so i couldn't really plan much in advance. also, sometimes class is so boring that i start to doze off. one good thing about this class is that the guest speakers are really interesting to listen to.
