This is designed for a broad range of language educators, including L1, L2, Heritage language, and ESL instructors at various educational levels, as well as language curriculum designers and program directors/coordinators. It is anchored in a critical interdisciplinary approach, emphasizing the social, political, and ideological aspects of language. Students will learn what are and how to implement critical language teaching practices within the language classroom through socially responsive pedagogies that incorporate their own experiences and those of their students, promoting change toward equity and justice in both educational and broader societal contexts.
