Repeatable to 3 credits. Provides an early field experience (e.g., tutoring young children) in secondary school settings (e.g., middle school). Recommended for students exploring the possibility of or intending to minor in Education or major in Secondary/MS/K-12 education. Credit will not be granted for experience accrued prior to registration. This course is open to all students but best suited for those interested in a career in education. Students need to be prepared to participate in as many as 10 in-person tutoring sessions over the course of the semester. Transportation is provided.
