This is a really cool class and Dani O’Neill teaches it well. The textbook that we use isn’t great and the quizzes are really nitpicky and even nonsensical at times, but she acknowledges that and curves the class by half a letter grade, which helped me finish with an A instead of an A- . The weekly labs are fun and engaging, and usually didn’t take up the whole class so we would get to leave early. The one thing I will say is that she is more like a high school teacher the way she runs the class, making us put our phones in a holder before class starts and more than once she reprimanded students for emailing her in front of the rest of the class, which seemed uncalled for. She is a bit unrefined, but she has a wealth of knowledge about the class topics so I learned a lot from this class and I do recommend her. |

Class is really relaxed, enjoyable, engaging, and interesting. You work with a group on a crime scene throughout the semester and give a presentation on your work at the end. The crime scenes are immersive and really cool!! As long as you have a good group you'll be good with that. Required quizzes are frustrating, they're administered through this online textbook that is a required purchase and are due most weeks before class. I don't think I ever got a 20/20 on these quizzes but I still got an A. I don't really see why anyone would do poorly in this class because at the end of the semester she gave a generous curve. Dani is AWESOME! A really knowledgeable, understanding, and engaging teacher (it also helps that she's an easy grader). I would 100% recommend her class!! |

Super easy, chill class. Only thing is quizzes are different but they are online. Overall good class, good professor. |

Amazing professor! She's an understanding grader, super knowledgable, and good at explaining things. The class is comprehensive, but well formatted so it's easy to understand. I only didn't get an A in the class because I went into some quizzes without reviewing the chapter. I absolutely recommend taking her class, 100% do it. |
