She is so passionate. I have learned so much from her and this class. Learning the ukulele and other songs for my classroom has been so fun and I am so excited to use them in my classroom. There are no exams, but mini "projects" (teaching episodes), uke checkpoints, and our final is a project. Bri'Ann has given me so much insight into incorporating music into my future classroom, and I am so thankful for it. |

I had Darren and Bri'Ann for MUED155 and they were both so good!! The class is really fun, you learn the ukulele and get to create music lessons (teaching episodes) for the class. There is no exam or testing, just teaching episodes (4), ukulele checkpoints (4), and a final project where we created children's books. There is some out-of-class reading involved and you have to practice your ukulele but otherwise, the course load is very manageable! I have really enjoyed my time in this class and highly recommend it!! |

If you are even considering taking this class. DO IT! Bri'ann is probably one of the best professors l have ever met. She is so passionate and extremely extremely kind. Her class flips back and fourth between learning the Ukulele and learning how to teach music to elementary students- which was just SUCH an interesting combo. The class is not a ton of work at all, it involves readings and sometimes preparing lesson plans/"practicing" for Ukulele checkpoints. But overall, super manageable class, super amazing professor, super supportive environment to learn and grow as a potential future teacher! |

Bri'Ann is an awesome teacher! She is really knowledgeable and understanding. I took this class without being able to sing or play the ukulele and I never felt bad about my inability and gained a lot of confidence. All of the homework assignments were actually really helpful too. |
