Joseph Richardson AAAS187 Expecting an A Anonymous 12/10/2025	As of right now, I think I can sleek an A in this class. Dr. Richardson might be one of the most down to the earth professors you can get for a 2.5 hr lecture. He is straight up and entertains us, at first class was boring but it gets really interesting once you understand/grasp the concepts and what he's trying to teach you. My advice for this course is to get the books he wants you to buy on amazon but refurbished, saves you money long term. This class is mainly collaborative and group work as he assigns you into groups and it doesn't matter if they're smart or not, it's based on your efforts and how much you contribute as a whole. There are midterms, quizzes, and a final. However, very straight forward and not hard whatsoever. I honestly think for the amount of gen eds you can get out of the way in one class (3 I believe), this is the best class to do so. Don't be fooled by the class reviews as a person that tends to skip lectures cause I go out a lot or just be lazy lmao (try not to for this one as its attendance based) it's not that bad either. Just pay attention and you'll do fine. He brings lots of guest lecturers and it kills the time so fast. Sometimes, classes will be online as well.
