Philip Nash AMST418N Expecting an A Anonymous 08/12/2009	Phil is an interesting professor. He's extremely passionate about public policy and urges students to care about issues and get involved. He's also very knowledgable and extremely well connected, so if you are interested in government, he's an excellent contact. Be prepared to talk in class--there are always large and small group discussions and often an interactive game. Despite its length, class usually went by quickly. The coursework is pretty easy, although going to lecture is very important. I don't think anyone read the required books. There were a few short papers and a final project--no exams or quizzes.
