Prerequisite: ANTH240. Jointly offered with ANTH640. Credit only grant ed for: ANTH440 or ANTH640. Historical archaeology enhances cultural heritage by providing voice for groups who were often unable to record their own histories, such as women, laborers, working class families, and enslaved people. The course provides insight into issues related to race, gender, and ethnicity as they relate to multicultural histories.
