I'm giving him four stars because I don't want to lower his rating too much over a style difference, but honestly I would rate him around 2 or 3 stars. He rambles so often, like way more than 50% of the class time, and he only barely touches on course-relevant content by eventually landing on it. I didn't really need to know his opinions on current events for 20 minutes every single class period. I know some people really enjoy that style, so if it's for you then run to sign up, but I personally couldn't stand it. I will say though, the class was insanely easy, so if you want a class to just vibe in than this will be perfect for you.

LOVED this class. I know he's had some negative reviews on other platforms about his somewhat unrelated rants, but honestly, I enjoyed them. Even when he was going off on a bit of a tangent, it was still weirdly interesting. Attendance is graded and technically mandatory, but you'll find yourself wanting to show up anyway :). Most of the classes he is just showing interesting clips, and there are no note sheets to fill, you just take everything in, which is a breath of fresh air. He has a few things for you to read and watch outside of class, but he makes it all free, which is super considerate to us college students. There's no technology in class, but that's fine because there aren't any notes to take, which is nice. If you are even mildly interested in art or controversial subjects, I would highly recommend this class.

One of the most insightful classes I've taken, you really learn a lot. Work load is not bad at all. Just a few of short 300+ word essays and 1-3 quizzes.
