Seokwoo Lee BMGT347F Expecting an A zachwolf1 05/24/2022	It was a rough start to the semester as he was not given proper expectations for us. A lot of ppl dropped in the first few days as it took him some time to adjust to us. Once he did though, the coursework was still very challenging. He still worked with us and always made himself available for his students, which we all really appreciated. Almost everyone who made it through the first couple of weeks even signed up to take another semester of his course. His commitment to working with his students is unmatched. The coursework still is hard.
Seokwoo Lee BMGT347F Expecting a W Anonymous 01/24/2022	Proceed with caution! I took this thinking I wouldn't need a lot of background knowledge and It quickly became a very time intensive class. He expected a level of understanding of R to complete the assignments and was very hard to understand with a mask on. At the beginning of the class, there were 45 students, and by the end, there were only 18 left. Many of the students chose not to continue in the Quantitative Finance Fellows as he would teach the second course in the program. Unless you have a background with programming languages or an interest in quantitative trading, I would recommend not to take this class with this professor.
