The only reason I got an A was because of his generous bonus participation, but wished the class was more hands-on. Half of the course was basically an in-depth version of bstat, and started to become test-based in the second half of the semester. His final exam was poorly designed--which he even admitted is why he curved so generously. I came to every class and stayed engaged, but the last exam was impossible for me and for that reason I would recommend taking it with another professor. It was only 15% of our grade, but I know other teachers have this class more hands-on and less test-based. He wanted his students to do well which is why the curve for the final was an exception, but if he made the exams as simple as the quizzes I would've felt better about my ability in the class, given that this is marketing and not just statistics. |

Don’t take him lmao. unless you want him to get mad at your for asking for help and asking questions in class. You’re better off taking any other professor or any other class for that matter. Our average final exam grade before a curve was about a 40%. (it was open note too.) Passive aggressive when you need help, doesn’t explain things well in class, and makes this course impossible when everyone who takes it with someone else gets an easy A. |

I would definitely recommend this professor to others, he prepares you very well for every exam and provides exercise sets in class that aren't graded but help you prepare. He also provides a lot of opportunities for extra credit and genuinely cares about your understanding. He uses Piazza so you can ask questions anonymously and he gets back super fast. He sometimes lectures fast but I never thought that it got in the way of my understanding. It's very similar to BSTAT if you are good with that. |

Bobby is definitely one of my favorite professors at UMD! He is very engaging and keeps lectures fun, ensuring everyone understands the material well. Bobby is hilarious and says the randomest things sometimes, and he is very open with his students about his experiences, giving us plenty of life advice. |

Bobby is awesome. He's so funny and really wants to make sure everyone is understanding the concept. Genuinely cares about the well being of his students for the future and knows a lot about market research |

Bobby is such a great professor! I had a great time in his class. He is such a fun and interactive lecturer, and I am glad that I took this class with him. He is really good at explaining these topics, as they can be challenging, but he takes his time and ensures that we understand. If you go to class and pay attention, you will do very well in this class and will be prepared for the quizzes and assignments. He also gives excellent life advice outside the class based on his experience. |

Bobby is the greatest professor I have had at UMD. He has such a funny and welcoming personality which really helps you engage in class and learn. He is always happy to help wth any issues you may face and genuinely cares about his students' skill development. If you have the opportunity take a class with this man! |

Andy was a great professor who teaches the material very well. He gives small quizzes and some bigger assignments throughout the semester but no exams. The course is set up for you to succeed and there is also time to get help on the harder assignments. The course teaches actual skills that will be valuable in the professional world. We learn how to use Tableau, Qualtrics, and SPSS and I feel I could actually use these softwares if asked by a job. |

If you can take this class with Bobby, do it!!! He is seriously one of the best professors I've ever had. He cares about his students and is great at explaining concepts. He is always giving us great advice outside of the class material. Go to class and review his slides and you will do fine on the projects and quizzes. |

Professor Jacobs is a great lecturer. He is slow, explains things well, is always willing to answer questions, and takes time to help his students. He cares about his students learning. This course does not offer many points opportunities, which can make the quizzes stressful, but he prepares you well for the quizzes. |

I enjoyed taking this course with Professor Li! He makes the workload pretty manageable, since he assigns small quizzes, a few discussions and assignments, and a team project. He’s willing to extend deadlines, which I appreciate. His lectures are straightforward but the material is pretty dense, so I definitely recommend paying attention in class and asking questions if you’re confused. You’ll be working with Qualtrics, Tableau, and SPSS for this course, and Professor Li will walk you through each platform. He also gives plenty of class time to work on the assignments and projects. Overall, Professor Li is knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. |

I enjoyed this class with Professor Lu! It was her first time teaching but I think she did a great job and I ended the semester knowing how to use Tableau and SPSS. She did her best to make a boring topic interesting and was always understanding and happy to help. I definitely recommend her! |

Professor Andy Li is the best professor ever! He's super understanding, walks you through assignments and other homework when you need it. He is very accommodating and knows that the course is difficult which contributes to his level of understanding. Throughout the semester he brought us candy and gave us insomnia cookies on the last day! Take Andy Li!! |

Choi is a nice guy, albeit he comes off quite robotic. When he walked in on the first day, I thought he was a student because of how young he is. While the content of the class is not very interesting, Choi breaks everything down into easy to understand slides, which makes the material easier to digest. The quizzes after each class are pretty hard, so make sure to not submit too early. Not many assignments in the class other than the quizzes so it does not take up as much of your time as other classes. |
