Do not take this class with Bruno Jacobs. This might as well be a statistics course. He goes over the material extremely fast and does not go in depth or take the time to properly explain anything. Grades are based on quizzes throughout the semester that are basically impossible to get a good grade on due to the time limit as well as the difficult content. He is a harsh grader on team projects and only offers negative feedback. I have friends who are taking the same class with different professors and are doing far better than I though possible in this class. He opts to use SPSS when there are other applications out there that are 10x easier to use and understand. |

Professor Jacobs is a good man. But not the best teacher. His lectures tend to drag on and he doesn't make things very interesting. As a junior, this honestly has to have been one of the most boring marketing classes I've ever taken. There certainly could've been ways for him to get us more involved, walk through practice problems with us, or simply just spice things up, but nope. A very black and white course. |
