Evan Starr BMGT468A Anonymous 12/16/2025	Great class- definitely one of my favorites I took during my time here @ UMD. Class is very impactful & important in the real world too. Definitely a class where you have to attend and be locked in during lecture. If you do only that, you'll do great. Only note is that a lot of class discussion is based on being cold-called, which is uncomfortable & makes me anxious, but they do it in a way that is low pressure & alright if you don't know. Definitely recommend.
Evan Starr BMGT468A Expecting an A+ Anonymous 12/10/2025	This professor has a great understanding of the course content. He goes through most of the questions in the data assignments which eases a lot of the time burden. He can be a little hard on the students, but overall he is a nice guy. He responds to emails very fast. The class isn't as easy as the reviews make it seem, but it's also not hard. You have to pay attention and take notes, but if you do that you will be fine. You have to rely on ChatGPT for some of the data assignments but make sure the formatting matches what we went over in class. This class can be time consuming, but if you put in the work you should get an A.

He is patient with students and doesn't make them feel bad for not understanding the content. Overall he is a really nice guy. The class isn't as easy as the reviews make it seem but it's also not hard. You have to pay attention and take notes, but if you do that you will be fine. You have to rely on ChatGPT for some of the data assignments but make sure the formatting matches what we went over in class. First of all, the professors are extremely engaging and genuinely care about their students success. The concepts in class are very interesting and extremely helpful to all business majors, you can and should use them during your interview process as well. I think this is a class that everyone should take regarding the value in the lessons learned. It is also very fun. Participation is important but it isn't hard as the professors will call you out in class. If you are unsure of the answer they will walk you through figuring it out which greatly enhances your learning. They go assignments during class so we learn what the correct answers are, why, and how to get to them. I recommend to take this course and I am very happy to have done so.
