Really friendly professor who seems to like what he teaches a lot. Overall seems really knowledgable, however he doesn't always share a lot of that knowledge. Lectures consist of student groups presenting on a case study and then the professor just summarizes what they presented and then asking Chat GPT for a summary as well. He doesn't put his own experience and knowledge into the topics as much as I would like. The homework is basically nothing except for reading case studies. All the exams were pretty easy and straight forward as long as you read the case studies. Class consisted of 3 exams, one presentation, and some reading checks. He also tells you exactly what will be on them if you pay at least a little attention in class you should easily get 100 or high A. Easy A and a pretty interesting topic I would definitely recommend overall.

Class is easy to follow, although you need to pay attention to do well. Not many assignments so do well on exams and projects. Interactive class that requires critical thinking, which I like. Lots of reading as every other class is a case study, important to know these cases and the overall concepts as it will be on the exam. Very nice professor that will ask leading questions to help you understand.

He is one of the nicest professor I have had in the business school. I will always go out of my way to take one of his classes, and he singlehandedly help me complete my supply chain major. All his classes are structured the same (all-MC midterm, all-MC final, easy group project, and some easy discussion posts). In terms of the projects and discussions posts, as long as you do them with minimal effort, you will get over an 85% on each assignment. Leland truly cares about his students and will take the time to learn everyone's name and follow up to concerns that students have. The only drawback is he will cold-call during lectures but not knowing the answer (or not paying attention) will not negatively effect your grade.
