Special Topics in Cell Biology and Molecular Genetics; Techniques and Applications of DNA Manipulation

Approaches on how DNA is manipulated in the laboratory, introduced into cells and analysis of its expression in cells. Techniques of targeted genome alteration, such as CRISPR. Experience in troubleshooting and developing basic research projects on PCR testing and vaccine development using the techniques learned in the course. (Sponsoring Dept.: CBMG).
