05/14/2025 		I loved this class and Dr. G. The class is structured with lectures in the first half and then a midterm of 4 short essay questions on the ELMS and in person. The midterm grading wasn't necessarily 100% fair, but I was able to earn some extra points after meeting with the grad TA during office hours. After the midterm, you take about a week or 2 doing an ICONS simulation with a group and followed by a simulation reflection paper individually, which was easy. The final was not incredibly hard, but it was time-consuming. It's a group project where you have to write a paper and present your CT or CVE strategy. Overall, Dr. G is an amazing lecturer and teacher. He's so knowledgeable and passionate about the subject and is super friendly to his students. He is an amazing person to get to know really well because he has strong connections in the field. I strongly recommend taking this class.

05/13/2025 		I know he has mixed reviews but I actually love prof guar as a teacher, he makes his expectations straightforward and this class (counterterrorism innovations) is so interesting!
