One of the best professors I've ever had! He's super personable and makes class pretty fun. I had him for CCJS352 and CCJS345 and they were both structured the same- 1 midterm and 1 final. They were challenging, but if you study hard and study the guide he gives you, you'll do fine. He also offers extra credit that's not hard for his classes. Definitely take it if possible!!

Excellent Professor for this Course; honestly, if you're looking for a good structure course with flexible deadlines, this is the class you need to take. His teaching for this class is enjoyable and love the fact he has background experience in any work related to cannabis. Just expect a midterm and a Final exam which he tells you beforehand what's gonna be on the exam. There are usually 7 quizzes pretty easy, and he drops the lowest 2 at the end of the semester. Specifically for this class, he has extra credit opportunities and a Drug Policy Paper on a topic of your choice, so it will help your grade substantially. If you are interested in learning about combating Drug Trafficking this is your class highly recommended, with great effort expect an A+. The class is also not mandatory to attend but recommended if you want to do well on this course, no PowerPoint slides but take good notes.

One of the best professors I've had at UMD! I definitely actually learned in his class, and I felt confident taking the midterm. A very chill professor with a lot of knowledge and a decent workload. I wanted to take him again next semester but none of his classes work with my schedule. But I would definitely recommend this course and the professor.

Greg is probably one of the cooler crim professors you'll have. He's done a lot of prior research on drugs and their relation to crime so he has a good understanding of what he's teaching. He has post lecture quizzes that are basically freebies if you just attend class and take a couple notes. There are memos you have to write as a group which are graded pretty leniently. For exams, he gives out review sheets and does jeopardy for extra credit. The readings are optional since he just goes over the main points during lecture. Very likable guy, 5/5.

Even though he is a good, cool, and funny guy do not take him in 352. I have Lehman for CCJS 300 as well and he is not much better. If you're taking 300 go with Brooks. The only reason I took it with Lehman is because I did not want Friday classes. But now for 352; DO NOT take this class with Lehman. The average grade for the first test was a C given that there are only 3 test, including the final, this made obtaining a good grade very difficult. 352 is an elective course and he treats it like a course in chemistry and biology. His test are 100 questions multiple choice and are written in the most complicated way possible. I got screwed over by taking 352 with Lehman to which I was recommended by a friend. I hope this review saved you from making a huge mistake.
