Selena Price CCJS418U Expecting a B- Anonymous 11/19/2024	Okay, I was going to wait until the end of the semester to write this but I feel the need to post my review due to the fact that I am rightfully super frustrated. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt but I believe that has to be one of the worst professors I have ever had. She is not understanding when you have a good reason to miss class. She believes that taking pictures of a lecture slide is considered a violation of copyright, you do not have the opportunity to make up participation points if you do not have legitimate dire and extreme measures of emergency. Most of the points come from being on time to class and having perfect attendance especially if you want to be "eligible" for extra credit assignment opportunities. The questions on the quizzes and exams mostly come from the textbook and not what she lectures about in class. I have accommodations and this class is still very difficult to manage because she is very strict with her policies. When it comes to exams, you have to turn in your exam when the first person is finished with the exam you do not get extra time, which is the main reason I made sure to take my exams in the ADS testing office. Overall, do not take her unless you have to and in my case, I had to because this was the last class I needed to graduate.
Selena Price CCJS418U Anonymous 06/24/2024	Great professor but the workload is high. She has multiple exams, quizzes, a 10-page paper, 2 interviews (one with a felon, one with a PO), an academic poster board, extra credit options, a paper option, and a 10-minute+ presentation. She also checks attendance, so only choose this class if you will attend. If you want to learn a lot this is the class for you. However, if you are looking for an easy class, consider other professors. You will learn a lot but the work is intense.
