Prerequisite: Must have completed CHIN204 or above; or permission of Chinese Program Advisor. Comprehensive introduction to Chinese and other major languages in the Sino-Tibetan, Altaic, Austroasiatic, and Austronesian families, all of which are spoken in China. Taught in English.
