CHSE200 is a very useful class and Professor Gramlich teaches it well and makes sure you understand the material before counting.

Amy is a great professor and pours a lot of herself in order to ensure the TerpsEXCEED program can run smoothly. This class is a great opportunity to stay up to date with mentee’s experience, but more opportunities to participate can be implemented. The course heavily depends on surveys and there can be more of a focus on discussion. This class has the opportunity to allow students to speak to each other, but that opportunity is rarely used.

Great professor and truly cares about all of her students. Whether they are a mentee or mentor Professor Meredith always goes the extra mile in order to know her students. The class runs smoothly most of the time. There are technical difficulties in the class sometimes and student discussions could be more encouraged. The course is still lecture heavy, but maybe discussions and more opportunities to participate could be helpful. The surveys are great to keep track of progress, but they often don’t allow students to fully express themselves.

As a peer mentor for the TE program Amy is very helpful and a great resource for the students. Whenever there was something I had a question about she was always there to answer and to provide guidance. Truly recommend taking edsp311 and being a peer mentor and helping support the students.
