Eric Zakim CINE469A Expecting an A+ Anonymous 08/28/2025	Without a doubt, Eric Zakim is my favorite professor I've had at the University of Maryland. It's true that his classes lack structure, assignments get pushed back, changed or cancelled, and you likely won't have grades until the end of the course. HOWEVER, if you do the very little work he assigns and throw in a thought or two during class, you'll get so much out of his lectures. He allows you to actually engage with the material, expecially within his CINE classes, instead of just writing meaningless papers and other busy work. If you want a great professor who cares about what you think more than some half-assed essay you'll Chat-GPT away, take one of his classes.
