Introduction to Computer-Assisted Translation

Prerequisite: Admissions test for first year courses; and COMM639; and permission of ARHU-Communication department. Introduces the use of computer-assisted translation tools to support large-scale translation projects and streamline translation processes. Focuses on industry software products that utilize translation memory and terminology management systems. Discusses the role of tools in the entire translation process from pre- to post-editing.
