AMAZING!!!! She is a sweetheart and highly recommend her for COMM107. She gives genuine feedback and makes the class very easy and flexible. I don't think we ever fully finished a 75 minute class except maybe one time? Many, MANY times we did not have to come to class either as sometimes she would just record the lecture or make it optional to come. She does what she calls "activity points" which can be done in or out of class and are very easy as well. There are no tests but are textbook quizzes which are extremely easy and not anything you should stress about. There are four speeches, three are individual with one being a group presentation. The last one is the easiest because you just have to record yourself and submit the video which during finals season is amazing. I truly do not have a negative thing to say in this class. I will say, if you ever miss a speech, make sure you provide documentation right off the bat because she will not really let things like missing presentation slide unless you have properly communicate with her. Just be open, honest, and try your best and you'll do great! |

She's awesome to have for COMM107 -- Professor Kaufer is kind, organized, and very approachable. She is well aware that this class is one everyone has to take, but few are truly interested in, so she's not nitpicky or overly serious like some profs. The major assignments are 3 presentations, which are graded fairly, and she does her best to minimize any pressure/anxiety people have and offer insightful feedback. Overall, she really does want the best for you, and I'd say people leave her class as noticeably better presentational speakers. |

Mrs. K is the best!!!! She is very understanding if you need to miss class. She is always giving extensions when needed and grades pretty fairly. I recommend her class for COMM 107 credit. |
