Giacinto Paolo Saggese DATA605 Expecting an A- Anonymous 05/05/2025	The professor might be an ultra successful engineer and an entrepreneur but the classes are plain boring where he just walks you through a dump of slides. Not an interactive class at all and you will not learn anything without prior knowledge about things being discussed in class. The best part about this course is the final project which mimics the real world expereince working in a comany. Through projecct you can get to learn things like github , docker , sql python and specific cloud and data engineering tools you are implementing in your project. The project carries 70% to 80% of the grade. Eventually you will learn something in the course but that will be on your own when you do the project. Lectures are just not worth it.
Prem Saggar DATA605 Expecting an A+ msml_nerd 05/21/2021	Prems a nice guy. But he is not a serious professor. He likes chatting in class about current topics. Once he begins a topic from the slide, he has a tendency to go in tangents about unrelated concepts. He is a generour grader, but I highly doubt you ll learn anything worthwhile.
