This professor has many strengths and weaknesses but overall the course was great. His strengths: asks for class participation, uses jupyter notebooks for lectures, records lectures, includes coding and discussion assignments, and uses datacamp which is actually pretty decent at introducing topics with coding practice. His weaknesses: not the strongest at coding himself, lectures lack flow and connection between topics, sometimes he hyper focuses on something that is simple and then glosses over the more complex concepts. I do recommend him for this course he is a kind person and he is has a genuine interest in data science. |
