Sung Lee ENAE423 Anonymous 12/12/2025	423, 324 and 420 are all very similarly taught by Lee. His lectures are directly based on the book, and so are the weekly quizzes and homeworks. Homeworks can be redone for full credit as well. I personally find his lectures to be very difficult to understand, and are just verbatim the textbook. Unless you want a chocolate there's probably not much worth in going to all of the lectures. Even though it's quite easy to pass with his grade weighting and homework redos, I feel like im definitely not learning as much. The quizzes and homeworks often have problems that are similar to textbook examples, but there are occasionally some problems that you really can't prepare for since they weren't gone over in lecture or in the book. Lee will give only 50% partial credit if an answer is numerically incorrect, so you need to be extremely careful on quizzes, and expect to redo some homework problems.
Sung Lee ENAE423 Expecting a B Anonymous 12/19/2022	This class is great, in which you have a redo for each HW assignment, and HW counts the majority of the grade for the class, but be aware about the grading of the class. It is extremely brutal that unless your numerical answer is completely correct, you would get no credit at all despite how much effort you put in or how much work you wrote. His grading system is especially unforgiving for some questions that have lots of steps or divided into different parts in which that if you wrote the equation wrong in part A and then you may use the wrong equation from part A correctly into part B and C and so on, you are basically screwed since he wouldn't even give credit for carryover errors and will keep penalizing you over and over. I have never encountered a class with that excessive amount of penalties for carryover errors. However on the upside, he is extremely responsive to emails and very quick too. He is also very flexible with scheduling individual appointments as well, and he is very nice when you ask him for help.
