Nestor Tiglao ENEB346 Expecting an A Anonymous 11/03/2025	If you learn best by doing practice problems, then this class will match that type of learning style. I believe if you took a 200 level Lin Alg course, either in HS or CC or elsewhere, you will be in a good place. You will learn more here, but having that background helps you catch on quickly. I didn't like the fact that we had to format everything (from HW to code) in Latex at the time, but I'm glad I'm much better at Latex now. It's used everywhere in academia from research papers to the way textbooks and homework's are written from the professor's side. Tldr; sometimes learning is hard and repetitive, but the content here is useful if you plan to go into research, ML, or other heavily data-science based roles.
Nestor Tiglao ENEB346 Expecting a B- Anonymous 11/02/2025	Dr. Tiglao is a great professor. His lectures are clear, well-organized, and easy to follow, even with challenging material. He genuinely cares about students’ learning and encourages questions and participation. Assignments are fair and meaningful, and the feedback he provides is helpful and detailed. I learned a lot from his class and highly recommend taking it.
