ENGL353 Expecting an A Anonymous 12/24/2024 |
Very nice lady, but the room felt very depressing to me as we always talked about heavy topics. She also isn't organized with assignments and announcements about classes being shortened and what not. It was such a long class and it was in the evening, so most of the time I just wanted to go home. Felt like a waste of time. While I loved the safe space of women and poetry writers, and loved reading my peers' work, i did not learn a single new thing about the craft. The class made me drop my creative writing concentration and not make my want to take any future poetry classes. Again, she is a very sweet person and I did like her, but the class just did nothing for me. |

ENGL353 Expecting a B- Anonymous 12/05/2024 |
Lindsay is just a terrible professor overall. deliberately grades super harshly and will berate you during office hours if you make a mistake. She really got issues, she shoulder surfs students laptops and phones in class too see what your looking at and will scold you uncessarily. I highly suggest taking another course, wait a semester if you got too. Grade averages are low, she goes out of her way to humiliate students and really is on that SJW mentality. There are gem professors out there, but sadly this one is just a lump of coal pretending to shine smh. Zero stars if I could. |

ENGL353 Expecting an A+ Anonymous 07/22/2024 |
Dr. Stallings is an amazing teacher! She was very understanding of any life situations that occurred and was also very chill. This class is based on discussion and is pretty small so you really do need to talk in it. If you work hard, submit the poems on time, and respond to other people's feedback appropriately, you will get in the A range. |
