Thomas Moser ENGL375 Expecting an A- Anonymous 02/18/2025	Very nice, sweet, and funny guy, but SUPER HARD grader. There are a few essay assignments and although I applied his feedback to improve my papers, I never once got a grade above a B. I typically do well on essays too, so this was a bit upsetting for me. His syllabus states that if you don't speak at all in class you will get an F for participation, which is not true (I'm not complaining about this). I barely spoke and got full credit for participation. The class is 98% discussion.
Peter Grybauskas ENGL375 Expecting an A Anonymous 12/07/2023	He was an absolutely wonderful instructor! He knew so much about Tolkien and taught me so much. We had fun discussions and there was never a dull moment. A wonderful way to experience these books for the first time

Really communicative and cares about you as a student - I had to miss several classes because of other life happenings and he was super accommodating. He's just a very pleasant and genuine prof! Looked forward to every day of class with him
