Katherine is amazing! Please take her class! As a TA she has been such a huge help. I have taken her course for two semesters now and she is always such a bright person to work with. She makes the classroom so comfortable and she is super attentive. The workload in 388V the first semester, is pretty decently easy, readings and discussions, group lesson, lesson plan, synthesis essay, weekly teaching logs. The second time or more is just weekly teaching logs and bi monthly Zooms. She is so easy to contact and such a great person. Take her class! |

lyra is very sweet! i took this course as a second semester teaching assistant (meaning it was entirely asynchronous), so the workload was pretty light and i appreciated the flexibility (we usually only had a weekly teaching log/discussion post, with the main assignment being a portfolio we submitted at the end of the semester). i don't think she's teaching 388v again for a while, but i think she'd also be a good choice for another english class! |

Sweetest prof I've ever had. She is super approachable and takes the time to get to know all of her students. She genuinely cares about our success and she is so helpful. Ignore the bad reviews cause they're quite simply just wrong, take her class!! |

Lyra is so sweet and very understanding! She takes time to get each of our names and has really fun in-class activities! Just wish that the class didn't meet so late in the day. |

lyra is super sweet and the class is pretty chill! most assignments seem to be completion based and the workload is very light (typically just two weekly discussion board posts, with a group project that she gives you time in class for as well as a final essay) |

Caroline is very sweet and caring of her students and very down to earth with us all. If something came up and you couldn't make it, she's so understanding! Honestly, all we did in the class was talk about the goods and bads of classes and how we can learn and improve from them the next time we have class or different situations, both academically and interpersonally with students. It meets once a week so it's not very demanding but there are a few discussions boards early on in the semester and then a graded group presentation to the entire class that's gotta take up at least half an hour. Not very heavy at all as your grade here depends on your grade that the professor you TA for gives you. Would def take it again with her! |

Professor Wilkins is lively and talkative. She's incredibly understanding of the fact that life can get crazy, and is more than happy to make accommodations for students. She's empathetic and kind to those who show respect to her and their classmates. The only times I've ever seen her get upset with someone was when they were being disrespectful. The class can go by pretty quickly with her, as the group discussion is usually fairly interesting. Her biggest drawback, though, is that she interrupts people like crazy!! A student will be in the middle of sharing a perspective, and she will cut them off or butt in. I've even seen her do it while a student is in the middle of giving a graded presentation to the entire class. If she has something to say, she will talk over you and make sure it's heard. |

Katherine is such an amazing person! She is so accomodating and helpful. If you engage with her, she's happy to help clarify or fix any issues. If you take 388V she will be a big advocate for you! Definitely a great professor. |
