Karen Nelson ENGL460 Expecting an A+ Anonymous 05/01/2025	Prof Nelson is amazing! I've taken her twice now and both classes she's an absolute angel. She likes the material she teaches and the passion spreads, her grading policy makes the class relatively easy as long as you pay attention and put in the effort (it's still 400-level English so a LOT of reading, but still). She'd even bring in food and goodies for us sometimes which she doesn't ever need to, genuinely she's such a kind soul. There's no penalty for turning in assignments late but you absolutely need to discipline yourself still because it'll pile up quick, the due dates are there for you not for her. The class is also a little hard to follow sometimes because she'll jump from one topic to the next, but again as long as you're paying attention you will be fine.
