ENGL478E Expecting an A+ Anonymous 05/16/2023 |
Professor Coleman's Iliad course was my favorite class of this semester! She is incredibly passionate about this subject - because of this she can get quite rambly, so I'd recommend taking her for a fun subject you're at least somewhat interested in. For example, I was not super interested in the Iliad specifically, but as an English major, her enthusiasm for the story was infectious. Her elms page is pretty chaotic and her assignments can be unnecessarily wordy, but she is a very caring professor and will clarify and adjust per student request. Very understanding with extensions. Also make sure you follow the formatting for her essays - she takes off a lot if you forget to add things like an appendix if she asks for it. Overall a very fun professor who loves her subject and students a lot. I learned a lot from this class and I'd definitely recommend taking it as long as you're okay parsing through long instructions! |
