Field Epidemiology for Global Health Intervention

The hard work and dedication for public health professionals in the United States and around the globe for more than 100 years has led to many important milestones. Some of which include: vaccination, motor-vehicle safety, safer workplaces, and safer and healthier foods, healthier mothers and babies and fluoridation of drinking water among many, many others.This course will utilize key success stories to highlight and emphasize the important role field epidemiology has filled in solving some of the most pressing health issues in the last 20 years.
