I am only halfway through this semester, but so far I think this class is great! The average for the midterm was an 85 (he offered bonus, too) and the assignments are doable. He assigns around one assignment per week, and they take anywhere from 1-3 hours. He grades strictly to the rubric. I do agree that his lectures can be boring, but I still find them very informative. He does not take attendance, but studying for the exams are much easier if you go to class. This is a great Public Health Options course if you are taking MIEH300 or BSCI223 at the same time!! Professor Ault is very knowledgable on all things epidemiology, too, and would be good to connect with if you are pursuing a career in epi. |

He was a very nice man but his lectures are extremally boring. He talks very slowly and takes very long to explain simple topics. We never finished the PowerPoints in class because he spent so much time reviewing topics that didn't need it. He also doesn't grade anything. This is the final week of classes and out of 16 assignments he has graded 2. Our midterm still isn't graded. The assignments although were very easy. There was one assignment a week due on Sundays and they were fairly easy. But all of his rubrics are taken from a different professor and do not align with his written instructions so it is kind of hard to know if we are doing the assignments right. Overall, I liked him as a person but I do not think I would ever take another of his classes. I need more structure and more engagement on the lectures. |
