Amy Lewin FMSC332 Expecting a B Anonymous 01/28/2025	Dr. Lewin is nice and passionate about what she teaches. She is very organized, so everything you need for class is posted. Attendance isn't mandatory, but she randomly assigns in-class activities, and you need at least 8 of them to receive full points. Although the exams are non-cumulative, they were pretty hard because there is no review sheet, and she doesn't tell you what is specifically on it; you'll have to study like six weeks' worth of notes. The other assignments were pretty straightforward, but her TA graded the papers harder than Dr. Lewin. I recommend taking this course with her, but don't expect feedback on your assignments until the end of the semester.
Amy Lewin FMSC332 Expecting an A- Anonymous 12/17/2024	I loved this class. Dr. Lewin is so passionate about what she teaches and she has a PowerPoint for each lecture that she posts beforehand. Attendance is not mandatory but there are class activities sometimes and you need 8/10 for the whole semester. Usually once a week but a lot towards the end of the semester so definitely go to class. There are four reflection papers throughout the semester which were annoying towards the end of the semester, especially with other assignments due every week. every few weeks there were online quizzes which I liked and were easy to get the extra points if you need it. There are 3 exams all multiple choice and a PowerPoint presentation recording assignment. There is also an observation paper which was fun because what you learned about development in class translates into a classroom environment and was cool to experience. The class was overall great and I learned alot, the only thing i did not like is the assignments felt like there were so close together and every week there was something major due after like mid October until the semester was over.
Martha Yumiseva FMSC332 Expecting an A Anonymous 12/05/2024	I love professor Yumiseva. She is incredibly kind and understanding, yet she is a great professor and lecturer. Trust me and take her if she is available for any classes.
Christine Schull FMSC332 Anonymous 03/16/2024	She isn't the worst professor. The way she lectures is pretty interesting. The problem I have with her is her attitude and the time she takes to respond to emails. She will wait until the day before an assignment is due to respond to your question. On top of that won't answer your question and tell you to choose a different assignment out of the six assigned. She also gets upset when people ask certain questions.

She is passionate about the course content and is very very accommodating to everyone. The class overall was quite light so long as you make the effort to attend lecture.
Christine Schull FMSC332 Expecting an A Anonymous 05/13/2023	Really nice and understanding professor. Class is very manageable, organized, and overall it's pretty easy. Class is structured so that if you miss class, all the content is uploaded so you don't need to worry about falling behind.
Amy Lewin FMSC332 Expecting an A Anonymous 06/20/2022	Prof Lewin is the best. I just took FMSC 332 online in a 3 week semester. I cannot recommend this class enough. It was a very intense 3 weeks but the topics were super interesting and the class was asynchronous. There were 5 discussion boards, 5 quizzes from the textbook, 2 papers, and a family project. It def kept me busy but I am so glad I signed up for this class.

Elisabeth Maring FMSC332 Anonymous 04/11/2011	Dr. Maring is a very kind, approachable woman. Her class is very easy-4 midterms, 6 online quizzes, and a few in class activities. She also shares a lot of stories from her own experience parenting, which is very cute. However, I will add that she does dumb down course material quite a bit, and her lectures move very slowly. Not the best class/professor if you're looking to stay engaged or challenged.

Amanda Berger FMSC332 Expecting a B Anonymous 09/02/2010	Loved this professor, she is so cute and very nice, she give weekly quizzes and there are two papers..also she loves Mean Girls movies that you will need to watch for one her assignment..what else yes her Exams...study her notes and try reading the textboook as well..and the finale exam was pretty as well..it was not cumulative I hope I helped! :)
Amanda Berger FMSC332 Expecting an A Anonymous 11/11/2009	She gives you notes to fill in during lecture. Her examples are very inetersting and she keeps you engaged in the subject. You should really study for the test, but alteast you know what the test will be on, unlike some professors!
