Marilyn Matar FREN313 Expecting an A+ Anonymous 12/04/2025	Genuinely the most fun I've had in a class at UMD. The content was very interesting and the videos and articles we had to view before class were always engaging (and there were never too many). There are five major assignments and a few smaller ones throughout the semester with a final project. I did not have to spend to much time on anything, and as long as you put in the effort you'll get good grades. And all this to say I LOVE Dr. Matar. Genuinely one of my favorites if not my favorite professor at the university. She seems a bit intimidating but she's really not. If you have the chance to take her you definitely should!
Marilyn Matar FREN313 Expecting an A Anonymous 12/30/2022	I loved Dr. Matar. She was so kind and encouraging and made class discussions super interesting. She also always offered helpful and in-depth comments/feedback on assignments. Would definitely recommend taking her for any French class!
